 Our Journal

I think one of my favorite pictures of all time is from this Hawaiian inspired wedding. Look at the first picture – as soon as she got that ring, girl was floored. You can’t help by feel the joy from them and feel it again looking back on these images. That’s my favorite part about capturing weddings; seeing these emotions emanate so strongly and experience them again and again through these images. It’s so much fun!

The bride actually learned a traditional Hawaiian hula to perform for her new native Hawaiian husband and both he and his family were brought to tears. It was such a magical way to enter into a union and family and emotions were running high.

The decor is on point as well; rose gold accents and a cupcake station as well as the couple’s cake. They incorporated the outside patio as an extension of their reception hall and had dancing, drinks and a cigar station as well as corn hole so their guests would be entertained all evening, and they were. This was such a special, touching and emotional wedding and I’m honored to have been witness to it.
