We technically went to the same daycare but because of the age difference (4 years - scandelous!) we didn't meet until Jeanne was 16 and Brian hired her for her first real job at Natural Wonders (RIP)
We took a cruise to the Bahamas and at our stop at Key West, Brian bought a beautiful blue topaz stone he later turned into my engagement ring. I had told him numerous times to never propose to me at a restaurant, so he got nervous drunk and proposed at Carrabas. It was perfect.
Brian is home from the Middle East and runs into me at the local Target (I was home from college on spring break). We got into a fight about sending chocolate to soldiers (Brian was one). He asks for my # and calls a week later. He makes up for waiting a week by driving 4 hours to see me at school.
At this point, I was obsessed with weddings so I hand crafted everything for our wedding. We had the bomb cherry blossom themed invitations and everyone had their own custom menu. Oh, and we got married.
We found the most amazing townhome with a *sunken living room* and a fireplace in the *cutest one-stoplight-town* ever. We were sold and are still in love with our town.
My little gingersnap joined us and made us a family of 4. What they say about gingers is totally accurate. They are feisty and strong willed and will steal your soul, but you'll let them cause holy hell they are CUTE!
Ordered coffee and before I had a chance to drink it, we found out we were expecting. Our first born was the sweetest blond haired blue eyed baby in the world ...except he never slept. He still doesn't. I can't wait until he's a teenager and I can vacuum outside his bedroom at 7am.
I'm writing this on the eve of 2022 and to sum up where we are we are Covid free and loving our 2 kids, 2 dogs and running a business that is meant to serve forever best friends. Who love coffee.
Coffee, Ducatis, Matthew Gray Gubler.. Time to reveal a few of our obsessions. See anything we have in common?
